Thinking of gluing sheets of mini orb up both sides of hallway with a timber border to finish it off. We have a mini orb and timber kitchen (kitchen bench and cupboards.)
The front entrance is at the start of the hallway and it leads into the kitchen. Does anyone have anything similar? If so, please explain and if you have any pics that would be great.

For colour Neutrals are great cause it looks elegant and neutrals go with most colours. Don’t overdo accessories or make the hall way too dramatic but it should be elegant, stylish, practical, have antique furniture and look as if ur living in the 1800s. Good luck and have fun. There are many sites with great ideas and pics.

You don’t say what color your kitchen is. Or is your kitchen going to be painted the same color as the hallway?
Anyway, you should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the “painted” rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:
IMHO, I suggest a warm, inviting green called “basil” for above the chair rail, and then paint the mini orb “dover white.” It will give a classic cottage, homey feel.
