Someone to design and plan for remodeling?

I am looking at a major renovation. Kitchen, bathroom, and converting a basement to an apartment. I am looking for someone that can do the design and draw up plans for this project. Who do I go to and what kind of cost just for the design and blueprints?

    If you are redoing an existing structure you can use an interior designer. If you need an addition to your home to be built, you should probably seek out an architect for the plans to be drawn up. Both of these people can most likely give you names of contractors to do the work or work with them.

    Price will vary depending on who you decide to go with (designer or architect) and the details that are included in the plan.
